Spiritual Counseling— Finding Your Niche in Life

Spiritual Counseling-Finding Your Niche“This is the true joy in life — being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one… being a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake.

Life is no ‘brief candle’ to me. It is sort of a splendid torch which I have a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it over to future generations.”

~ George Bernard Shaw

I have had the incredible opportunity to work with many beautiful people over the years, and one of my greatest joys is in helping a client to shine a light on their own true path. We are all so individual, and it is incredible to watch how those paths can unfold across time as I continue to work with clients in developing and recognizing their true abilities as they work to live our their purpose.

Feeling lost is a human state. We all go through those times, and it’s a signal that it’s time to start coming back home to yourself. Coming home looks different for everyone, and while it is tempting to follow the newest fad, subscribe to the teachings of the new popular guru, or work to change your life philosophy based upon this week’s bestseller in the self-help section, those choices will more often serve to get you further lost than to help you find your way.

Living authentically takes courage, and self-awareness.  And with so much information and misinformation out there as to what a “healthy” and “authentic” life is supposed to look like, it can be difficult to walk your own path with confidence.  This is where a spiritual counselor is helpful.  I have years of practice guiding others to their path and helping them learn to recognize and listen to their own inner, authentic voice of personal wisdom.  I teach my clients how to develop discernment in their lives and to lean on their own truth.

Being authentic does take courage.  Sometimes it also takes practice.  It can take a little work and some soul-searching to find where your patterns and habits and should’s stop, and where the you that is who you are meant to be begins.

I am always available to you, win@winstonhampton.com.

Love & Light,
