Colorado Energy Healing and Confusion

Sometimes people become confused. They can see many choices and many outcomes and they become paralyzed with indecision and confusion. Confusion can be very distracting and distressing for people. Especially people with type A personalities who want to pursue goals and lead an orderly life.

One reason for confusion is that your three “selves” conflict. You have a Basic Self, a Conscious Self and a High Self. The Basic Self is a pre-pubescent child who wants its basic needs met: security, and safety. These are good things to want and to try to attain for one’s self. The problem is that the Basic Self has a very limited perspective and operates from a child’s maturity.

The High Self has a broad “soul-level” perspective and can see many more choices that can lead to safety and security. It also doesn’t feel afraid of not getting its basic needs met, so its motives are of a higher nature. What feels like risk to the Basic Self is not a valid concern to the High Self.

So a person experiences conflicting feelings about a choice that presents itself. The Conscious Self is the ground for cooperation between the Basic and High selves and must be the balancing point. It wants to ensure that the Basic Self doesn’t suffer from fear, but it understands that the High Self is wiser and has a broader vision.
