Boulder Energy Healing: The Role of Drugs on the Spiritual Path

When I was coming of age in the 1970’s many people discovered their spiritual paths accidentally through the use of psychedelic drugs and other substances. Keep in mind psychedelic drugs were developed by psychiatrists and scientists interested in the human mind in order to create more loving and Boulder energy healing. Ecstasy, for instance was developed for couples experiencing marital problems to increase their loving and intimacy. LSD was developed originally in the search for a blood stimulant and was later experimented with by psychiatrists hoping to find a cure for severe addiction and other severe psychological problems.

A side effect of these drugs, many soon discovered, was an ability to dive deeper than the personality self and into spiritual expansion. People began to have spiritual experiences on the drugs and thus experience drug-induced awakenings and loving.

Experimental drug use was definitely a critical part of my own awakening. In another blog I’ll discuss how this eventually stopped working for me and I had to find healthier ways to experience spiritual expansion and infinite loving.
