Always Sick? Energy Healing May Help
A couple of years ago, I had a client who was regularly getting sick. She found that she was catching colds or some little bug about once or twice a month. This woman was a very successful professional and couldn’t afford to be taking time away from her successful career and busy family life to take down-time that often.
We looked at her life, trying to pin down possible causes. She had a great diet. She actively practiced yoga and meditation for good self-care. She worked diligently to build a life that would support and maintain health and happiness. But she was working too hard, and she knew it. Even with all of her amazing self-care she was still being overly taxed.
She was an incredible professional, a loving and dedicated partner to her husband, a committed parent of three beautiful children, and she had a network of friends that she was actively involved with. This incredible woman was successful in every right, but was pushing herself constantly to be and to do more. She felt guilty for not being more involved with her children’s school and sport activities. She felt guilty for not having more energy for her partner at the end of the night. She felt guilty for not being more available for her friends and family when she felt like they needed her. This incredible woman was suffering from attachments to ideas of what she had to be and to do in order to feel successful. Her guilt was driving her body to cry out for help.
I guided her through a course of Noetic Balancing, and she came to realize the damage that her attachments to the idea of being at 150% capacity in all of the areas of her life were making it impossible for her to be at even 50% in any of them. She needed to be at peace with herself, with her life, and with all of her amazing accomplishments and to recognize them for what they were. After I helped her to release some energetic attachments to the past, and to her ideas of what she had to be and to do to be a “good” mother, or a “good” person, she stopped getting sick. She recognized that her body was crying out for her to stop, relax, and enjoy the life that she had already built without feeling driven to do more than she was capable of at that time.
Sometimes our bodies cry out to let us know that something isn’t quite right in our lives. If you are regularly experiencing illnesses, or aches and pains that aren’t necessarily tied to a medical condition, your body may be trying to talk to you. If this is something that you would like to explore more, and stop the sick days and the pains that are keeping you awake at night, then con-tact me at win@winstonhampton.com and we can talk about what energy healing can do for you in your life.
Love & Light,
