Fort Collins Spiritual Counseling: The Beggar’s Quest

spiritual questThe beggars act of begging
Is the beggars search
All souls pick up a begging bowl
And walk the beggars road
So they may experience
The quest for themselves
It remains a paradox
That beggars are saints in disguise
Who wear the disguise so well
They think and act and live
As beggars
from Beggars

The spiritual quest is a paradox. Each person is both the beggar and the saint. The beggar believes himself to be “real,” when truly he is a far larger, more expansive spiritual being capable of all holiness. The beggar never believes this to be true unless he has personally gone on his quest and discovered his own higher self. It is food he believes he’s hungry for, but truly it is so much more that he seeks.

Along the beggar’s quest are guides such as a spiritual life coach, who can help the beggar see himself as more than his worldly expression. In Fort Collins spiritual counseling, the practitioner can truly see the spiritual being that is the beggar, the saint inside the beggar, if you will. They then reflect that back to the beggar, allowing them to see themselves as the saint.
